Join students from IB schools around the world to study biodiversity and ecological with “SELVA” Life
Without Frontiers Foundation (http://selvaeco.org/). This organization runs a remarkable preserve in the
rain forests of Ecuador and is working closely with the International Academy and UNESCO to offer
students an immersion into the beauty and diversity of nature. Students will cruise on jungle rivers, interact
with indigenous people, and investigate the biodiversity of the region. A week long tour of the Galapagos
Islands will trace the footsteps of Charles Darwin. In addition to land tours, students will have the
opportunity to scuba and snorkel in this important bio-preserve. Estimated cost: $4600
